HEPY at the Gastroenterology “Andrzejki” – At the Center of Discussions on Endoscopic Diagnostics

Participation in industry events constitutes an important element of our educational and relationship-building activities. In this spirit, we had the pleasure of attending another edition of the Gastroenterology “Andrzejki” – a respected scientific and training conference dedicated to gastroenterologists, endoscopists, and specialists involved in the diagnosis of gastrointestinal diseases.

The event gathered representatives of the medical community from across Poland, creating a platform for the exchange of clinical experience, presentation of current standards of care, and discussion of the challenges facing modern gastroenterology.

The Gastroenterology “Andrzejki” as a Forum for Knowledge Exchange

For many years, the conference has held an important place in the educational calendar for gastroenterologists. The program included expert lectures, clinical case analyses, and discussion sessions devoted, among others, to endoscopic diagnostics, diseases of the stomach and duodenum, and current therapeutic recommendations.

A particular strength of the event was its emphasis on practical aspects – solutions that can be implemented directly in everyday clinical practice, including diagnostics performed during endoscopic procedures. This format fostered substantive discussions and the exchange of real-world experience among physicians from different centers.

The HEPY Booth – Presentation of the Hepy Urease Test®

During the conference, we were present with our booth, where we presented the Hepy Urease Test® – a dry rapid urease Point-of-Care test designed for the detection of Helicobacter pylori infection directly during endoscopic examination.

Discussions with Physicians and Exchange of Experience

Participation in the event provided us with an opportunity for direct dialogue with gastroenterologists and endoscopists. Discussions focused on the practical aspects of using rapid urease tests in endoscopy settings, organization of diagnostic workflows in endoscopy units, and expectations regarding tests used in routine clinical practice.

These meetings enabled us to better understand the needs of the medical community and gather valuable insights that support the further development of our diagnostic solutions.

The growing importance of diagnostics performed directly at the patient’s side was one of the frequently discussed topics. Point-of-Care tests, enabling rapid results during endoscopic examination, provide meaningful support in clinical decision-making and optimization of the diagnostic process.
